William Morris' woodpecker design was inspired by Ovid's Metamorphoses, in which an Italian king was turned into a woodpecker by Circe after refusing to be seduced.

Our version of this pillow was woven in France from fabric composed of 80% cotton, 16% viscose, 4% polyester.

Filled with a removable down pillow and backed in cream velvet.
