Mission-style furniture is a branch of theĀ Arts and Crafts movementĀ made popular by the revolutionary furniture maker, Gustav Stickley. Our furniture is all handmade by expert craftsmen who understand how to get the most out of a piece of wood. We carry a broad selection of mission-style furniture so that every customer can find the right fit for their home and situation.


Mission style revolves around simplicity, and the pieces are traditionally made withĀ solid American white oak, though red oak, cherry, maple, and walnut woods are all used often. The past inspires our approach to mission-style furniture, but we have brought it into the present. We focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Not only do we create strong, dependable furniture, but we also make pieces that are lovely to look at, and that will complement any home with their straight lines, warm stains, and welcoming designs.


Because of the history of the style (which is drawn from the Arts and Crafts movement and was a reaction to the overly ornate designs of the late 19th century), you won't see a lot of ornamentation on mission-style furniture. Still, you can rest assured that every piece in our collection is handcrafted with love and is beautiful enough to complement any house.


The solid wood construction makes mission furniture exceedingly strong, and designed to last more than a single lifetime. The dependable construction features the finest materials, highest quality hardwoods, and highlights finishing touches of vintage Mission hardware styles and antique metal finishes.

Modern Bungalow was great to work with. Their customer satisfaction is upmost. I made a major mistake on a custom order and yet they were willing to work with me. As it turned out my mistake complimented my room in a way I hadn't expected. The order was through Simply Amish. Some of their options are not shown, and that's where I made my mistake.And I put down the wrong stain, but it works beautifully. They also worked with me on an extended delivery date, as our newly constructed house was way behind schedule.
