The Poeme Hand Tufted Rug brings artisanal craftsmanship and timeless elegance to any interior space. Meticulously hand tufted from 100% wool, this rug features deep, rich colors that add warmth and sophistication to your home. The natural wool fibers provide durability and a luxurious feel underfoot, as well as natural stain resistance. 
Meet the Maker

Our network of skilled weavers in India are 85% female, from over 700 villages in India. They use techniques handed down over generations to design and craft some of the finest rugs in the world. Jaipur rugs Foundation works with these women to ensure a not only a living wage, but a quality of life, including the Alternative Education program for the weavers and their children. The holistic approach addresses economic empowerment, healthcare, and preservation of craftsmanship across rural communities in India.

Standard sizes typically in stock and ship UPS ground in 10-14 days. Please contact us for lead time and pricing on custom sizes.

Monitor settings vary, so we always recommend seeing the actual colors of our carpets in your home. Plus, we want you to experience the quality construction so that you trust your investment in one of our hand-knotted rugs. Just purchase the smallest size available and we'll ship it with a return label so that you can send it back for a refund when you've made your choices on a larger rug.

Warranty

Hand-knotted rugs are meant to last for generations. Some amount of shedding is to be expected in the initial months after receiving your rug, and will diminish with regular vacuuming. If you spot any defect in material or workmanship, please contact us right away so that we can work with our maker to make it right.

Hand-tufted rugs allow for a more approachable price for some of our most popular designs! These rugs are created by skilled artisans who use a tufting gun to create the fiber pattern out of loops on a canvas matrix. Once the pattern is done, the heavy backing is glued on with durable latex adhesive that holds the loops onto the matrix. Overall, a great option to get one of our modern classic designs without the investment of a hand-knotted rug!
