Details

The Metro group is all about classic lines, but with a contemporary twist. The block legs in dark espresso finish and gentle curve connecting arm to back make for a clean modern look that plays nicely with any style.

These sofabeds are our most comfortable, with extra-thick  5-1/2" memory foam. The base layer is 4.5 inches of virgin foam for support and consistency, topped with 1 inch of gel foam to keep things cool and supported. The mattress is encased in four-way stretch fabric to allow the foam to conform to your body for maximum comfort.

All tubular steel construction provides additional durability for frequent use.

Overall height is 35 inches, and total depth is 38 inches. Seat depth is 23 inches, seat height is 19 inches. Arm height is 24 inches.
Materials + Construction

Our sofa, chair and bed frames are solid wood with 1-1/8" lumber (most furniture frames are 3/4"), and feature a no-sag spring system with 8 gauge S-springs, lateral stabilizers, extra corner springs and coated spring hangers connecting springs to frame to eliminate squeaks. All joints are corner blocked for increased durability as well. Dacron-wrapped 2.0-2.75 high density foam core cushions provide lasting comfort and support. With proper care and re-upholstery over time, this can easily be your last sofa purchase.
Meet the Maker

Our upholstered sofas and beds are made to order in BC, Canada by a maker that stands behind their products and works to minimize their footprint and impact on the planet. All wood frames are sourced from certified suppliers who adhere to standards of the Forest Stewardship council. Foam cushions are part of a zero waste supply chain and are CFC-free and polybrominated diphenyl-free.
Build and Delivery Time Frames

Sofas, chairs and upholstered beds typically take 6-8 weeks to build, and 1-2 weeks to ship. Lead time can be longer if the selected fabric is out of stock. Feel free to check in with us via chat or email to verify current lead time ahead of purchase. Otherwise as soon as your order is confirmed with the maker and in the queue, we will reach out to you with the estimated ship date of your order.

Warranty

Our made to order upholstered sofas, chairs and beds have a 25 year prorated warranty on frame, springs, and cushions. This means with proper care (rotating cushions and not removing covers for cleaning), we guarantee you will get 25 years of comfort and beauty from your sofa.

All of our sofas have solid hardwood frames with metal spring-supported seats. All cushions are fully wrapped in your chosen fabric, allowing you to reverse and rotate your cushions for consistent wear. Cushions are 2.0 lb density standard, 2.75 density also available (ask us for details).

The frame outside, back and sides are fully padded to improve durability and create a more completely tailored look. Details like piping, zippered cushions and crowned seat cushions make for a high end finish.
