Room Idea - Shotgun Parlor
Decorating a small space is always a challenge. Here, we pull it off by choosing one bold pattern (the gorgeous Poppies rug) and keeping everything else simple and complementary. The furniture is small scale, and round shapes keep you from feeling like you'll be bumping into corners. Stained glass hanging in the windows brings a decorative element without cluttering the room, and symmetry gives the illusion of a larger space. We suggest a mirror over the fireplace for the same reason.
