Tiger Rug

We consider Tiger Rugs to be today’s masterpieces and tomorrow’s heirlooms. It's all because of the wool! The pure wool used in Tiger's Tibetan oriental rugs comes from sheep that graze the Himalayan mountain range at elevations that touch the sky. The extreme climate in this region at these altitudes results in a wool rich in lanolin. This produces the finest wool for the weaving of carpets. The master weavers put to use their artistic talents to create some of the most truly unique and beautifully-crafted carpet designs available today.

The skeins of wool are hand-dyed in the Swiss chemical dye process in small batches to ensure rich color as well as dye lot evenness and absorption. Rugs are certified by Care and Fair, an initiative to prevent child labor.

We at Modern Bungalow love them. We love walking on them, laying on them, and selling them. They are ethically sourced, and a great company to work with.

The styles shown are typically in-stock at Modern Bungalow or Guildcraft's US warehouse, so they can be delivered in 1-2 weeks. If you'd like a custom size, please contact us and we will give you a quote for price and lead time.

If you'd like to try a sample in your home to see the colors in person, just contact us at info@modernbungalow.com and we'll ship you a 12"x18" swatch for a fee, which can then be refunded upon return, or applied to the purchase of your full-sized carpet.
