WIlliam Morris Domed Magnets

Metropolitan Museum of Art Store

  • $22.00

One of the founders of the Arts and Crafts movement, William Morris (British, 1834–1896) designed beautiful, handcrafted household objects that elevated decorative pieces to the realm of fine art. The English countryside, with its hedgerows and native field and garden flowers, served as his touchstone. This set of magnets features details from Pink and Rose, an original woodblock-printed wallpaper pattern in The Metropolitan Museum collection, that Morris designed about 1890.
