Art Pottery Candlestick Set
These elegant candle holders were originally designed in the year 1920 by famous Rookwood artist Kataro Shirayamadani.
Shirayamadani had a distinct style that is apparent throughout his gorgeous body of work. His influence on Rookwood’s past and present is very apparent, and this elegant pair of candlestick holders are no exception.
Their hand-carved vintage design and art-deco elegance carefully cradle your favorite pair of tapers. This set makes for a wonderful housewarming or wedding present.
Rookwood Pottery was founded in Cincinnati over 130 years ago by pioneering artist Maria Longworth-Nichols. She built the company into a world-renowned ceramics studio, attracting the attention of famed artists and ceramicists all over the world.
Today, Rookwood continues to build upon its rich heritage and creates the highest quality Art Pottery and Architectural Tile in the United States. The company operates an 88,000 square foot production facility in the bustling Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Each piece is still glazed by hand using Rookwood's proprietary formulas, made up of minerals and elements found in the earth.
Modern Bungalow is proud to partner with Rookwood, not only showcasing their art pottery in our store, but also helping our clients design the fireplace, backsplash, or other tile installation of their dreams using Rookwood's art tiles.
Each Rookwood tile or piece of pottery is hand-glazed and fired on order, so please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of your order. UPS ground shipping is free. Limited glazes in the Express Ship program can be delivered in 5 weeks.
