As part of our Customer Experience Team, you will be aiding in the customer’s buying journey. From the first interaction, you will be there to listen, educate, and delight them with the best buying experience possible. We focus on the lifetime value of each customer. At Modern Bungalow, we sell as a team. You are working directly with the customer, so everyone else in the store is here to support you.
Then there's the necessary part of the job, which sometimes makes up the core of your day: Tagging products, checking inventory, working the register, dusting, tidying up, and occasionally moving furniture.
We are a retail business so are weekends are our busiest times.
This shift is Thursday- Monday(5 days, 40 Hours)
- A genuine interest in people
- Tech savvy. Comfortable with computers and tablets and quick to learn new software.
- Good at self education. There is a lot of product information to learn.

About Modern Bungalow: We are a custom home goods store specializing in quality products for your historic home. 3 years ago my wife and I purchased a sleepy little store, full of amazing furniture and devout customers. We decided it had to be shared with the world! We invested in marketing, technology and good people. Now we are growing fast, moving to Old South Gaylord, and expanding our team of rockstars. We work hard to foster a dynamic and supportive environment, where collaboration is rewarded and successes are shared.

Software we use: MS office, Google Docs and Drive, Shopify / Shopify POS, Xero, Trello, Slack. When submitting your resume, write a paragraph about an interesting item from our website and why you selected that item.
This role is full-time and pays $45,000 per year + 401k and QSEHRA.
4 paid holidays & 4 paid floater Holidays
1 week (40 hours) PTO, and a paid vacation between Christmas and New Years.
