The days wane and the air begins to chill as the trees display their vibrant hues of scarlet, copper and gold. The smell of seasoned earth is in the air as the wind plucks the fiery colored leaves from the swaying trees. The overlap of the setting clouds looks as though Autumn stretches on for eternity. The crisp leaves covering the landscape, crunch underneath every footstep. Nature is on full display, offering more colors than the most vibrant artist's palette.

Meet the Maker

Keith Rust is a Roycroft Renaissance Artisan based in California. He graduated with honors from the Art Center College of Design and made a career in the video game industry as a designer and art director. However, his passion always lay with the Arts and Crafts movement and the great outdoors. He has spent years refining his craft and developing his style of landscape painting, which pays homage to the Arts and Crafts movement by conveying the breathtaking beauty to be found in our surroundings.
